Armenia is a “Democracy”. Why does PM Pashinyan need so many Spywares?

I did warn all Armenians who do not parrot the good views expressed by PM Pashinoglu about his disastrous achievements, that their smartphone can become the target of a close surveillance by The National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, even if they are not involved in any criminal activities.

Pashinoglu purchased the “Pegasus Spyware” from Israel not to ward off threats targeting the national security of Armenia, but to silence any opposition that seriously hampers his obsession with consolidating power in The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia, and allow his “Collaborationist” government to engage in disinformation campaigns designed to promote to the ignorant masses the following points:

a) Artsakh is a heavy burden on Armenia. It must be returned to Ilham Aliyev even if it means the loss of 120.000 Armenians in an “Ethnic Cleansing” campaign. The “Ethnic Cleansing” is a collateral damage to buy peace from the Azerbaijani Fuehrer Aliyev.

b) We need to make more territorial concessions to appease Petro Dictator Aliyev, including but not limited to the partial or full surrender of Syunik to Azerbaijani sovereignty.

c) Ties between Russia, Iran, and Armenia must be severed to remove Russian presence from the South Caucasus, and further the NATO/Pan-Turanism Plan of controlling the region. For more details see:

Lately, a legal battle in Israel’s Supreme Court paved the way for a set of new revelations about Pashinoglu’s government, and the vast electronic surveillance system established to monitor Armenian citizens, and improve the ability of the Pashinyan Junta to contain and neutralize dissent directed against the “Collaborationist” government of Armenia.

Based on Israeli court documents, it seems that Pashinoglu purchased from Israel's Cognyte Software Ltd. a Spyware that not only allows the full control of smartphones, but it permits also the hijacking of a Facebook account and its use to spread lies, disinformation, and exercise any form of psychological warfare to convince Armenians that the survival of the nation rests heavily on signing a “Humiliating Peace Treaty” with Aliyev, and “Normalization” with Turkey.

Facebook targeted and eliminated hundreds of hijacked accounts by “Cyber Mercenaries”, such as Cognyte Software Ltd., whose principal purpose is greed satisfied by the drive to use technology to keep authoritarian governments in power even if it requires a callous disregard of civil liberties, and democratic rights such as freedom of speech.

Well before the outcome of the legal battle launched in Israel by human rights activist/lawyer Eitay Mack became public knowledge, an article published on Dec.16, 2021 titled “Facebook Warns 50,000 Users Were Targeted By Spy-For-Hire Companies” written by Thomas Brewster Associate editor at Forbes, covering cybercrime, privacy, security and surveillance, pointed out the findings of “Citizen Lab”.

For those who do not know much about “Citizen Lab” a brief explanation. It is an academic institution integrated into The University of Toronto. It is dedicated to:

 “Investigating digital espionage against civil society, documenting Internet filtering and other technologies and practices that impact freedom of expression online, analyzing privacy, security, and information controls of popular applications, and examining transparency and accountability mechanisms relevant to the relationship between corporations and state agencies regarding personal data and other surveillance activities.”

Citizen Lab, identified and published a list of countries that are users of Cognyte and Cytrox Spyware:

“Armenia, Egypt, Greece, Indonesia, Madagascar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, and Serbia... Facebook said it had also identified evidence of victims in Armenia and customers in Germany, Vietnam, Ivory Coast and the Philippines.”

Cytrox is based on the use of a Spyware known as “Predator”. Fitted into a specially equipped surveillance van, it can hack a smartphone from hundreds of meters away and steal private data, including WhatsApp messages and Facebook accounts.

Now, after reading this article, can you still buy the argument that Armenia is a democracy dedicated to freedom of speech and the defence of “Civil Liberties”?

Or, are you more inclined to believe that Armenia is no better or worse that any authoritarian regime where the leader is obsessed with power rather than an absolute dedication to protect the collective well being of a nation?

Do you still believe that NGOs created by Soros are established in Armenia to protect democracy, freedom of speech, freedom to express dissent, etc...? Isn't it obvious that the only goal Soros pursues is the use of "Noble" ideas to destroy countries and make a big profit for his hedge funds?

When a dimwitted Prime Minister forges policies based on empty promises

Since 2018 Armenia has been the victim of a great scourge due to the myopic foreign policies of PM Pashinyan. Devoid of common sense, lacking a basic understanding of history, and unable to grasp the geopolitical realities of the Caucasus, he is currently pursuing the disastrous attempt to introduce international observers to monitor and contain the new wave of Azerbaijan’s Armed Forces (AAF) incursions into Armenian territory. Pashinyan has been in a state of euphoria since the French Ambassador to Armenia, Anne Louyot, made the following declaration: “ W e support the idea [Foreign observers], we work in this direction and negotiate with other countries...
