We were losing, and Russia was offering to stop the war, but the Prime Minister refused. Mikael Hambardzumyan

I am convinced that not every person monitoring the political landscape of Armenia will invest 53 minutes of time to watch an interview that was conducted almost four years ago on June 2, 2021. But if you are a seeker of truth, an Armenian willing to learn from the mistakes of the past, and ready to build a better future for Armenia, by removing the “Manchurian Candidate”, Nikol Pashinyan, from The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia, you need to listen and listen well to every single statement made by Mikael Hambardzumyan.
Mr. Hambardzumyan was the head of The National Security Service of Armenia (NSS) during a significant portion of the 44-Day War, from October 08, 2020 to Nov. 08, 2020. For four weeks, he witnessed how the architect of the “Engineered Defeat”, Nikol Pashinyan, casually sacrificed an average of one hundred Armenian soldiers a day, on a war that he was clearly told, by Col. General Onik Gasparyan, the Chief of Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, that he cannot win.
To the Armenian press, Col. General Onik Gasparyan stated:
“On the fourth day of the war [Sept.30/20], during the meeting of the Security Council, I presented our losses and the assessment of the Armed Forces of the situation, noting that measures must be taken to end the war in two or three days. Otherwise, in conditions of such an intensity of hostilities, our resources will be depleted in a short time, and every next day we will have more unfavorable conditions for the negotiation process. I have repeatedly presented similar assessments during my round-the-clock work with the Prime Minister, as well as at the meetings of the Security Council.”

While brokering a “Cease Fire” agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia on October 09/20, Russian President Putin advised Pashinyan that he can stop the war if Armenia accepts the return of Azerbaijani refugees to Shushi, a city that will remain under Armenian control as long as the presence of Russian “Peacekeepers” are accomodated. Pashinyan refused Putin’s offer, and on October 14/20 the hypocrite Prime Minister of Armenia declared to the BBC that overwhelmed by the carnage of the battlefields of Artsakh
"I bow to all our victims, martyrs, their families, their parents and especially their mothers, and I consider their loss my loss, my personal loss, the loss of my family ...We all need to know that we are facing a difficult situation and despite losses of manpower and equipment, Armenian forces were still in general control and had inflicted numerous losses of manpower and equipment on the enemy...This is not a statement of despair or desperation. I provide this information because I am committed to tell our people the truth."

On October 19, 2020 Putin made the same offer to Pashinyan: end the war and keep Shushi, simply accept the return of Azerbaijanis displaced from the city during the First Artsakh War (1989-1994). When Pashinyan declined the offer for the second time, the Russian President flabbergasted and confused stated:
“Unexpectedly for me, the position of our Armenian partners was that they perceived this as something unacceptable. Prime Minister Pashinyan told me openly that he viewed this as a threat to the interests of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. I do not quite understand the essence of this hypothetical threat, I mean, it was about the return of civilians to their homes, while the Armenian side was to have retained control over this section of Nagorno-Karabakh, including Shusha, and meaning that our peacekeepers were there, which we have agreed upon both with Armenia and Azerbaijan. At that point, the prime minister told me that his country could not agree to this, and that it would struggle and fight.”

An important point was made by Mr. Mikael Hambardzumyan during the interview:
Nikol Pashinyan never shared Putin’s proposal to end the war with the National Security Council of Armenia. He kept everyone in the dark to monopolize the decision making process during the war, and disseminate to the public the lie that he is winning the war, while he was deliberately hemorrhaging the Armenian Army at the rate of 100 dead soldier a day.
Had Pashinyan accepted Putin’s offer on Oct.19, 2020 more than 2000 brave Armenian soldiers could have returned ALIVE to their families, and more than 4000 soldiers could have avoided the tragedy of being maimed so badly that they were unable to reintegrate into civilian life after their discharge from hospitals, where they suffered dozens of traumatic surgeries to fix shattered bones and destroyed lives.
After reading all the horrific details mentioned above, do you want Pashinyan to win the 2026 elections, and build a “Real Armenia” in the image of Petro-Dictator Aliyev and Sultan Erdogan?
Armenian academics have labelled Nikol as
“Loyal servant of the interests of Ankara and Baku, and also the humble enabler of “The Greater Turan” dream (Pan-Turkism)."
