The Painful Victory of Pashinyan On 07 June. Farewell Address

Image
Since the end of the 44-Day War, I fought an uphill battle on multiple social platforms to emphasize the critical point that the longer Nikol Pashinyan stays in power, the more calamities Armenia will face.  For reasons based on twisted logic, Armenians refused to accept the argument that a leader who casually sacrifices 5,000 brave Armenian soldiers to save his political career, is not fit to stay in power. Instead of banning him from the political landscape of Armenia, Armenians extended Pashinyan’s stay in The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia in June 2021, despite knowing without any ambiguity that Nikol was the mastermind of the “Engineered Defeat” of the 44-Day War.  The loss of 5,000 soldiers did not trigger a major popular uprising, and attacks by small groups of disgruntled Armenians on government buildings, did not intimidate Pashinyan or create the imperative to end his abuse of power, and the pursuit of an “Appeasement Policy” with Aliyev, who kept get...

Wars Are Financial Investments

Almost a year ago, it was obvious to me that America has a vested interest in triggering a “War of Choice” with Iran, and under one narrative or another, the U.S. Administration will launch a war to cripple Iran’s oil exporting capacity, and create a serious shortage on the international oil market. I wrote the following Facebook post , published one year ago, in response to a docu- video produced by Prof. Abraham Gasparyan, who indicated in the video (after the 40 minutes mark) that the possibility of a U.S.-Iranian military confrontation is too remote, and highly unlikely to happen. The following is my post reproduced in full: While I have a tremendous respect for Prof. Gasparyan’s understanding of international relations, and the fact that all wars are based on rational calculations of national interests, I respectfully disagree with his argument that the United States of America has no vested interest in destroying Iran. America has a long list of reasons and ben...

Bibi, Tsahal, & Haredi Jews

In an FB post titled “Southern Lebanon Will Never Become Part Of Greater Israel" , I pointed out that, one more time Tsahal will fail in its mission to maintain a long-term presence in a land it annexed in the name of creating a “Security Zone” that neatly coincides with the Israeli government’s political agenda of creating “Eretz Israel/Greater Israel.” At the end of my article I conveyed to readers with absolute confidence the fact that “Hezbollah will not wait 16 years to snatch the control of Southern Lebanon from the hands of Tsahal. I can guarantee you the invader will be pushed back to the internationally recognized border in a much shorter period of time, that will not exceed three years.” Less than 24 hours after publishing my FB article, many alarming messages about the inability of Tsahal/IDF to maintain the war tempo surfaced in the Israeli media, and a list of concerns expressed by the army’s top brass and opposition figures, made it clear that a collapse of the IDF i...

Peace In Armenia & The 2026 Report Of The Office Of The Director Of National Intelligence (ODNI)

Image
On March 18 , the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) released the U.S. intelligence community's “2026 Annual Threat Assessment ”, highlighting in a 33-page document what it views as the most significant national security threats (Domestic, International) facing the United States in 2026. A key role in the preparation of the document was assigned to The CIA, and a full page ( p 27) was devoted to the “Peace” process currently pursued by the government of PM Pashinyan with Azerbaijan’s Supreme Leader, Petro-Dictator Ilham Aliyev. Before we delve into the details of the “Report,” I find it of utmost importance to highlight the fact that a pathological dependency does exist between The CIA, the institution that gathers information, analyzes the bits and pieces collected, and disseminates them to the political establishment. T he leadership of The U.S. relies heavily on daily CIA briefings to shape critical decisions, supposedly for the collective well-being ...

Does Pashinyan Have A Plan B?

Trump’s “War of Choice” targeting Iran moved into week three. The U.S. President boastfully declared on day two of the war: “We won the war, in the first hour, it was over.” No one in The U.S. Administration managed to explain why the “Victory” achieved very quickly during the early stages of the war, failed to produce a total cessation of military confrontations between the two aggressors (Israel, USA) and the victim of the aggression Iran.  To defend the narrative/lie that he won the war, Trump produced a set of new lies to justify the shallow claims he conveyed to the public, and directed his anger to the independent media outlets that dared to humiliate him by debunking the baseless dimensions of his bravado.  To his MAGA followers trumps insisted that many news outlets are promoting “Fake News” because the “Media actually want us to lose the War.” To caress the big ego of his boss, The chair of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Mr. Brendan Carr, threatened ...
