Repeating the same old mistakes and expecting better results
After reading our previous article titled “ Flagrant examples of corruption in Armenia ” , published on Jan. 12, 2021 many Armenians living in the diaspora and Armenia expressed the valid concern that the article does not contain anything about the corrupt entourage of PM Nikol Pashinyan, and most of the accusations mentioned involve state bureaucrats associated with the old guard ousted from power by “The Velvet Revolution” back in 2018. I did mention in our article that the names associated with corruption in Armenia are only “the tip of the iceberg”. The analogy of the iceberg was used to emphasize the fact that corruption is so deeply rooted in The State Bureaucracy of Armenia, those prosecuted represent a small portion delivered to the attention of the public for many reasons that we cannot elaborate simply because they require an expose by themselves.
