Should we know why we lost the 44-Day War? Or should we allow critical findings to be buried in the “SECRET” archives of Armenia’s National Assembly?
During a speech to the British parliament in 1948, Sir Winston Churchill paraphrased a statement made by Spanish philosopher George Santayana, and emphasized to his audience the fact that "Those that fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it." It seems that Civil Contract Party MPs, study history not to understand and avoid critical mistakes that claimed the lives of 5,000 brave Armenian soldiers in 2020, but to absolve the architect of the “Engineered Defeat”- Nikol Pashinyan from any responsibility by burying secret documents in the archives of Armenia’s National Assembly (NA). Armenia’s parliamentarians do not feel the need to learn anything from history, and honestly do not give a hoot if the political leadership of Armenia repeats the same mistakes of 2020, and another 10,000 lives are lost in the future upheavals that will shake the South Caucasus if Iran emerges triumphant from the “War of Choice” launched by Israel and America in February 2026.
