Does Pashinyan Have A Plan B?

Trump’s “War of Choice” targeting Iran moved into week three. The U.S. President boastfully declared on day two of the war: “We won the war, in the first hour, it was over.”

No one in The U.S. Administration managed to explain why the “Victory” achieved very quickly during the early stages of the war, failed to produce a total cessation of military confrontations between the two aggressors (Israel, USA) and the victim of the aggression Iran. 

To defend the narrative/lie that he won the war, Trump produced a set of new lies to justify the shallow claims he conveyed to the public, and directed his anger to the independent media outlets that dared to humiliate him by debunking the baseless dimensions of his bravado. 

To his MAGA followers trumps insisted that many news outlets are promoting “Fake News” because the “Media actually want us to lose the War.” To caress the big ego of his boss, The chair of the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Mr. Brendan Carr, threatened to revoke broadcasters' licences if concerned parties did not “Correct Course” by putting an end to the dissemination of “Hoaxes And News Distortions” considered very detrimental to “Public Interest.” In other words, Mr. Carr was warning US broadcasters “to toe the line” or else face the wrath of The White House.

Unable to cope with the lack of compliance of the press with his bizarre expectations, Trump unleashed a new wave of tantrums, this time because the “Anointed Leader” of “Western Democracies,” who was supposedly “Winning” a war of aggression against Iran, was clearly disappointed by the lack of enthusiasm of “Allies” declining his request to send naval expeditions to keep the “Strait of Hormuz” fully functional. 

Most of the “Allies” Trump approached for naval assistance, politely conveyed to him the following key questions before rejecting his appeal for military assistance:
- Did you consult us before complying with Israel’s insistence to attack Iran?
- What can our frigates do to deliver to the rest of the world a fully functional “Strait of Hormuz,” when the world biggest navy, overwhelmed by the fear of being attacked by Iranian missiles and drones, is staying more than six hundred kilometers away from Iranian shores?

Obviously, with his reckless obsession to defend Israeli interests instead of focusing on the collective well being of the American nation, Trump unleashed a crisis of “Trust” that goes well beyond the borders of the European continent. The GCC countries (Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates) were shocked when they discovered that the billions they spent to buy “US Protection” for their territories, were seriously compromised by Trump’s decision to transfer existing Patriot missiles on GCC soil to Israel, thus rendering six Arab allies vulnerable to Iranian missiles and drones that managed to destroy sensitive radar installations, hotels, and a long list of targets associated with the US military, intelligence, and corporate personnel established in the GCC countries. 

As far as Armenia is concerned, the sociopath populist demagogue Nikol Pashinyan, has been trying to reassure us, since signing the 08 August 2025 TRIPP agreement, in Washington DC, that “Peace” has reached the South Caucasus thanks to Trump’s mediation and determination to end the bloodshed between two warring nations (Armenia, Azerbaijan).

Psychologists and psychiatrists know well that often it is very difficult to distinguish the difference between an ecstatic vision of “Peace” and a sheer frenzy where you conveniently forget that Trump signed the agreement as a “Witness” not as a GUARANTOR. Meaning, Trump has no obligation to impose any punitive measures on Petro-Dictator Aliyev the day he decides to help Israel by sending to the Iranian border, via an occupied Syunik, a military expedition tasked with the plan to sever a significant portion of Northern Iran, where close to 15 million Azerbaijanis live, and fulfill the dream of Greater Azerbaijan/Bรผtรถv Azษ™rbaycan controlled by the Aliyev dynasty. 

In less than two weeks, Trump destroyed the “Trust” and turned into ashes the billions of dollars invested by six Arab countries (GCC) in buying US protection for their territories. How difficult is it for Trump to betray Armenia? With a single “Executive Order” issued after a sustained Israeli pressure, Trump can transfer the 76% of the US shares in the TRIPP project to Azerbaijan. Does Pashinyan have a “Plan B” the day Trump decides to throw him under the bus? Or should we work hard to make sure that Pashinyan’s stay in The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia, does not go beyond the elections of 07 June 2026?
