Nikol Pashinyan & His Musical Band Varchaband
Armenian Prime Minister Launches Music Group Varchaband with First Concert in
Yerevan
January 26, 2026 - The California Courier
Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, started his career as a mediocre journalist. His newspaper, Haygagan Jamanag, on the verge of bankruptcy received a lifeline of $200,000 from The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), an American NGO that distributes money on behalf of The CIA.
The money from NED came with a catch; return Artsakh to Aliyev, evict Russia from the South Caucasus, destroy The Third Republic, and create a “Real Armenia” in the image of Erdogan and Aliyev. Pashinyan, the failed journalist, gladly complied and entered the political arena to maintain the steady flow of financial support from many foreign sources.
From 2018 to 2026, Pashinyan the politician imposed all kinds of calamities on the Armenian society. From his disastrous handling of the 44-Day War (2020), to the total loss of Artsakh (2023), to the Azeri invasion of Armenia resulting in the loss of more than 200Sq Km of Armenian sovereign territory, to, to, to...
From the Roman Emperors Pashinyan adopted the edict "Give them bread and circuses." Like the Roman Emperors, Pashinyan wants circuses/concerts to become the “Opiate of The People;” the temporary relief that distracts the masses, and forces them to focus on the trivial, disregard with apathy the serious issues affecting the country, and entertain the misleading hope that a better tomorrow is awaiting Armenia.
Pashinyan and his band are determined to play music and invite Armenia’s population to sing and dance. Has any Armenian made an effort to read about the final hours of the SS Titanic? Based on the testimony of close to 700 survivors, the ship's eight musicians, led by Wallace Hartley, played music throughout the sinking to calm passengers and numb their emotions, while the depth of the sea was devouring with a ferocious appetite one passenger after another.
The Third Republic, under the watchful eyes of Pashinyan, will meet the same end destiny reserved for the Titanic. It really doesn’t matter that 1 out of 4 Armenians is poor. Official poverty rate is 23.7% in the major cities of Armenia. Rural Poverty Rate is 27.1%. Pashinyan has always found money and somehow managed to spend millions of dollars of tax payers money, in the form of year-end bonuses, on cronies and loyal followers.
For the poor, Pashinyan is producing cheap bread from wheat purchased from Kazakhstan, that has to transit Azerbaijan to reach Armenia. For the middle class he has purchased cheap fuel from Azerbaijan, and soon cheap electricity will be available from Azerbaijan once Armenia’s electrical grids are connected to the supply lines of Azerbaijan.
Back in 2018, the “Velvet Revolution” propelled a “Clown” to The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia. You place a “Clown” in such a sensitive position, and he will turn the country into an open air circus. The Only problem is the show is always dedicated to his paymaster Aliyev.
Do you want a “Clown” like Pashinyan to stay in power beyond the June 2026 elections?
Do you want to be trapped in the sinking ship and calmly accept the destruction of The Third Republic?
