The Absurdity Of Blaming The KGB For The Genocidal Policies Of Turkey
Since early 2024, and in more than one declaration reported by the Turkish media, PM Pashinyan argued that;
a) "Turkey did not commit a genocide against Armenians. The USSR wrote this scenario, and we played it. The genocide claim was invented by the USSR to worsen Turkey-Armenia relations."
b) "As relations between Moscow and Ankara hardened after 1946, Russia, or more precisely the USSR, began to use the discourse of 'Armenian Genocide'. We have a choice whether to accept it or not. We didn't have a choice. We were told what we needed to say, and we stood by it. Now we have to sit down and re-investigate all this."

In November 2025, Pashinyan, obsessed with his agenda to “Normalize” relations with Turkey, continued to waterdown Turkey’s heinous crime of 1915 by shifting the blame, one more time, and placing it firmly on the shoulders of Soviet political decision makers, and more specifically The KGB-Komitet Gosudarstvennoy Bezopanosti, The Committee For State Security, the principal intelligence agency of the Soviet Union from 1954 until its dissolution in 1991.
PM Pashinyan used his warped logical faculties to peddle the narrative “...that the deep-rooted hostility between Armenians, Turks, and Azerbaijanis was shaped by Soviet-era propaganda and the influence of the KGB.”
According to the ingenious discoveries PM Pashinyan made, after scrutinizing closely the nefarious schemes of the KGB since 1954, the “Mutual Distrust”, a euphemism for “Mutual Hatred”, is closely associated with KGB manipulations of “Ethnic Narratives” designed to maintain the Kremlin’s control over the South Caucasus.

Prof, Vahram Ter-Matevosyan of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the American University of Armenia, in an attempt to analyze Pashinyan’s KGB fancy dance and song, endorsed the fact that PM Pashinyan is an “Homo Ignoramous”-a historically ignorant person with a vacuous mind. In a recent interview Prof. Ter-Matevosyan pointed out that the “Prime Minister of Armenia continues to make political statements that rely on sweeping generalizations, distortions, and outright misinformation. This is hardly a new pattern. His grasp of Armenia’s political and social history over the past two centuries has repeatedly revealed a troubling mix of inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and contradictions.”

Yesterday (Nov.24) The European Centre for Law and Justice (ECLJ) released to the international media a petition titled “Petition For the Defense of Christians in Turkey.”
ECLJ, based on statistical figures, is inviting the world to focus on the following question:
The Christians of the Ottoman Empire before 1915 constituted 20% of realm. Today, the Christian population is 0.3% of the population of the Republic of Turkey. Does the world care? Can PM Pashiyan explain how the Christians of the Ottoman Empire were reduced from 20% of the population to the 0.3% of the population? Was the methodical extermination of the Christians of The Empire spearheaded by the KGB?
NO, NO, and NO the KGB had nothing to do with the Armenian Genocide of 1915. We can firmly assert that Ottoman Turkey and Kemalist Turkey followed a genocidal policy that mobilized every State institution to exterminate the Christians of The Empire, especially the Armenians who sustained the highest number of casualties.
Please, make a sincere effort to use the following links to sign the petition released by ECLJ to the media, embassies, and to politicians worldwide. We need to remind the “Civilized West” that “...the respect for the rights of Christians should be an absolute requirement in political relations with Turkey:
