Does Erdogan Have The Courage To Follow The Footsteps Of Willy Brandt?

Image
The photo below was taken on 07 December 1970 and became known as "Kniefall von Warschau" or “Warsaw Genuflection” - the act of bending the knees to the ground as a sign of deep respect. West German Chancellor Willy Brandt was on an official visit to Poland, when he made a decision to visit the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising monument. On that cold and rainy morning, Chancellor Brandt laid a wreath in front of the monument, took a few steps back, reflected in silence on the horrors associated with the history of the monument, and spontaneously knelt to honor the memory of thousands of Jews who perished following an uprising against the Nazi Army. Chancellor Brandt emphasized that "Faced with the abyss of German history and the burden of the millions who had been murdered, I did what we humans do when words fail us." For his courage, honesty, and serious attempts to build trust with Eastern Europe, Chancellor Brandt was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1971. Wh...

Army Day 2026

Image
Today we honor the brave soldiers of The Armenian Armed Forces with prayers, soul searching trips, and a deep sadness for the 5,000 soldiers who hugged martyrdom during the 44-Day War, while screaming to the enemy “Mahn imatsial Anmahoutyoun E,” eternal glory to our immortal soldiers. 5,000 Armenian warriors fought valiantly five armies on the multiple fronts of Artsakh; Azerbaijan, Turkey, Pakistan, Israel, and Islamist mercenaries from Syria. Three Turkish Generals played a vital role in securing to Azeri troops an absolute dominance of Artsakh’s air space: Lieutenant General Sheref Ongay, Major General Bahtiyar Ersay, and Major General Goksel Kahya. Six hundred Turkish officers/advisors were also supporting the Generals and coordinating UAV strikes, while chaperoning Azeri officers who became “busboys” and shoe shine boys complying, like obedient dogs, with every order issued by the Turkish Officers. Azeri Generals who dared to express their annoyance with the Turkish p...

Nikol Pashinyan & His Musical Band Varchaband

Image
Armenian Prime Minister Launches Music Group Varchaband with First Concert in  Yerevan January 26, 2026 - The California Courier Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of Armenia, started his career as a mediocre journalist. His newspaper, Haygagan Jamanag, on the verge of bankruptcy received a lifeline of $200,000 from The National Endowment for Democracy (NED), an American NGO that  distributes money on behalf of  The CIA.  The money from NED came with a catch; return Artsakh to Aliyev, evict Russia from the South Caucasus, destroy The Third Republic, and create a “Real Armenia” in the image of Erdogan and Aliyev. Pashinyan, the failed journalist, gladly complied and entered the political arena to maintain the steady flow of financial support from many foreign sources.  From 2018 to 2026, Pashinyan the politician imposed all kinds of calamities on the Armenian society. From his disastrous handling of the 44-Day War (2020), to the total loss of Artsakh (2023), to...

Should Pashinyan Listen To Canada’s Prime Minister Mark Carney?

Image
On 14 Jan 2026, I published an article titled “The Rules-Based International Order Collapsed. Can Pashinyan Adapt To The Laws Of The Jungle Or The Donroe Doctrine?” While the primary target I had in mind when preparing the article was Nikol Pashinyan, I don’t think his aids translated it and delivered the content to his attention. At best, an anlyst working for Armenia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (FIS) took notice of it, translated it, and currently the article is resting in an electronic archiving system managed by the FIS.  In the academic world I am a NOBODY. An analysis of current international relations by a virtual unknown, who relies on quotes associated with the name of the Greek General and historian Thucydides, and his account of the Peloponnesian War (416 BC), does not carry any weight, and Armenia’s principle rulers will not have a sleepless night because an Armenian from the “Diaspora” is ranting about the destructive policies of PM Pashinyan.  But what ...

The Two Election Campaign Managers Of PM Pashinyan; Erdogan & Aliyev

Image
It is not the first time that a high-ranking Minister in the government of Sultan Erdogan is expressing an unwavering dedication to the notion of saving the destiny of the Pashinyan regime, and the survival of Armenia’s Prime Minister well beyond the elections of June 2026. Many figures from the inner circle of Pashinyan studied in Turkish academic institutions, and they were strongly predisposed to serve the Turkish State under the war cry of “ ีกีพีฅีฌีซ ีฌีกีพ ีง ีฌีซีถีฅีฌ ินีธึ‚ึ€ึ„ีซีกีตีซ ีทีธึ‚ีถีจ, ึ„ีกีถ ีฌีซีถีฅีฌ ีŒีธึ‚ีฝีกีฝีฟีกีถีซ ีฝีฟึ€ีธึ‚ีฏีจ” English translation: “B etter be the dog of Turkey rather than be the slave of Russia” Losing valuable assets managing key positions within the Pashinyan government, is detrimental to Turkish national interests, and for this critical reason Turkey strived hard to ensure the success of the "Velvet Revolution of 2018", and interfered more than once in Armenian internal affairs to shape and colour the political landscape of Armenia. Turkey’s first atte...

Pashinyan, The Normalcy Bias, And The Boiling Frog

Image
It all started with an interesting Facebook article published by Hovik Manucharyan on 18 Jan 2026. here is the unedited full text: Normalcy Bias ! It is the belief that because things look “normal” today, they will remain so tomorrow, even when all the warning signs point to the opposite. History provides several examples of this phenomenon: - Kodak celebrated quarterly profits while digital photography quietly rendered its core business obsolete. - Nokia dominated the global mobile phone market but failed to recognize the strategic shift that ultimately erased its dominance. - Blockbuster focused on optimizing store performance while its entire business model was being replaced. The same pattern appears in states and societies. Yes, life is busy. Careers must be built. Families must be supported. Wine festivals must be attended. Geopolitics feels “above our pay grade.” Someone else will handle it. And this folks, is how slow-motion disasters happen. Wh...

A Partnership With The Devil

Image
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian is alleging that the leadership of The Armenian Apostolic Church (APC) is “Corrupt”, and as an institution The Church is facing a dire need for “Reform” to prevent what Derderian calls “a serious erosion of moral authority and governance within the Church.” Ironically, to advance his project masquerading under the rubric of “Reform”, Derderin is ready to partner with the “Devil” currently in charge of The Office of The Prime Minister of Armenia-Nikol Pashinyan. Before we address the destructive role of Pashinyan and all the tragedies he heaped on the Armenian nation since the “Velvet Revolution of 2018“ also known as “The Turco-Azeri Revolution of 2018,“ we need to emphasize the fact that Derderian himself was embroiled during the last decade in many scandals and lawsuits launched by Armenian philanthropists alleging that Derderian embezzled donations, “...perpetrated multiple frauds, bore false witness, lied to and introduced false document...

How PM Pashinyan Turned Armenia’s Justice System Into An Instrument Of Repression

Almost two weeks ago I published an article titled “Under Pashinyan’s Rule The Civil Contract Party Is Above The Law.” I analyzed in my article the findings of the ๐Ž๐ซ๐ ๐ง๐š๐ง๐ข๐ณ๐ž๐ ๐‚๐ซ๐ข๐ฆ๐ž & ๐‚๐จ๐ซ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‘๐ž๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ-๐Ž๐‚๐‚๐‘๐, disseminated to the international media under the title of “๐‚๐จ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐‚๐š๐ฌ๐ก: ๐ƒ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐ƒ๐š๐ญ๐š ๐… We all know that corruption in Armenia is not strictly confined to the offices of the Civil Contract Party (CCP). Under the watchful eyes of PM Pashinyan, corruption has moved well beyond the rank and file of the CCP, spread its tentacles to every single ministry, undermined every principle of fundamental justice, and turned the judges and key bureaucrats of the Justice Ministry into disposable items mobilized to serve the personal ambitions and survival of the “Pashinyan Dyna...
